What we do

Dog day care for when you can't be there

Company, walks and play for the days you can't be there.

Some days you just can't be home, and your dog shouldn't have to spend them alone. Our day care gives them somewhere to be while you're at work, out for the day, or simply need a few hours covered: a real family home, company, and plenty to do, then back to you in the evening.

It's the middle ground between leaving your dog on their own and a full overnight stay. They get the run of the day with us, and they still sleep in their own bed at night.

A day in a home, not a holding pen

Day care with us isn't a room full of crates and a rota. Your dog spends the day as part of the household: pottering about, out on walks, romping in the garden, and settling down for a rest when they've worn themselves out.

Because we're licensed for only a small number of dogs each day, every dog gets proper attention rather than being one of a crowd. That also means space is genuinely limited, so the more notice you can give us, the better. Priority always goes to our regulars.

What's included

  • A day spent in our family home, not a kennel or facility

  • Pick-up and drop-off if needed, subject to distance

  • Walks, company and plenty of romps in the garden

  • Fresh water throughout the day and after every walk

  • A towel-down when they come in muddy or wet

  • Rest time when they need to recharge

  • Licensed, inspected and rated by the local authority, to DEFRA standards

How it works

Simple from start to finish.

Meet and greet

Before your dog's first day, you both come and meet the carer and see the home. It lets your dog get comfortable and gives you a chance to ask anything. No obligation.

Book your days

Tell us which days you need, share your dog's routine, food and any medication, and we'll confirm the booking. Regular slots are easy to set up.

Their day with us

Walks, garden time, company and rest, all in a real home. Your dog keeps close to their normal rhythm.

Home for the evening

You collect a happy, tired-out dog at the end of the day, ready to settle in for the night at home.

Opening hours

We're open 7.30am to 6.30pm, weekdays and weekends. Drop your dog off on your way out and collect them on your way home. If those times don't quite fit your day, ask us and we'll see what we can do.

Is day care right for my dog?

Day care suits sociable dogs who'd rather have company than spend the day home alone, and it's a good way to break up a long day for a dog who gets bored or anxious on their own. We ask that day care dogs are up to date with vaccinations and comfortable around people and other dogs.

If you're not sure whether your dog will take to it, tell us about them and we'll give you an honest view.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What are your opening hours?
We're open 7.30am to 6.30pm, weekdays and weekends. Drop-off and collection fit around your working day.
Do you pick up and drop off?
Yes, pick-up and drop-off are available subject to distance. Let us know where you are and we'll confirm.
How many dogs are there each day?
We're licensed for a small number of dogs per day and we stick to it, so every dog gets real attention and space is limited. Booking ahead is the best way to avoid missing out.
Can I book regular days?
Yes. Lots of our day care dogs come on the same days each week. Set up a regular slot and it's yours.
My dog gets anxious on their own. Is day care a good idea?
Often it's the perfect fit. Company through the day is exactly what an anxious or bored dog needs. Come to a meet and greet and see how your dog settles.
Is your day care licensed?
Yes. Our day care is licensed, inspected and rated by the local authority against the standards set by DEFRA. Ask us for the licence details for your area.
